	Ismerkedjünk ! Érkezett 2006. október 17.-én. A MiG-21 U első hazánkba került alváltozata, a 66-400-as gyártmány. Leginkább szembe tűnő különbség a későbbi 66-600-as gyártmánytól a függőleges vezérsík mérete. A 400-as az F-13 és a PF kisebb méretű, a 600-as az MF a BISZ és az UM nagyobb vezérsíkját "viseli". Tehát MiG-21-ből 7 féle változat volt hazánkban rendszeresítve. Ha másképp tudod, örülök ha pontosítasz ! Let's get acquainted! She arrived on October 17, 2006. The first subvariant of the MiG-21U to arrive in our country was the product 66-400. The most obvious differences between it and the aircraft of batch 66-600 is the size of the vertical stabiliser. The 400s had the smaller stab of the F-13 and PF variants, whereas the 600s had the larger style found on the MF, bis and UM variants. This means there were seven variants of the MiG-21 in service in Hungary. If you know differently, I'd be happy for corrections!
	Sztárszögből - smink nélkül. Hiányzik a Pitot-cső, a másik Pitot-cső, a jobb futómű fedele, néhány borítólemez és számtalan csavar. Lesz még vele munka, mire a végleges helyére kerülhet. There'll be work on her yet, before she gets into her final spot.

	Az a bizonyos különbség: a függőleges vezérsík kisebb, mint a MiG-21 U (66-600-as gyártmány)-é. Nézd meg a "600-as" képét, azon nagyobb vezérsík van. Ez itt az F-13 és a PF farkára hasonlít. That certain difference: the vertical stabiliser is smaller than on the MiG-21U Product 66-600. Look at the pictures of the 600 - it's bigger. This one here looks like the tail of the MiG-21F-13 and the PF.
	A hátsó kabintető egy másik, terepszínű gépről való. The rear canopy cover came from another airplane in camouflage.
	Ez itt feltehetőleg (és levehetőleg) a vízszintes vezérsík munkahengere és jeladója. This is likely the actuator for the vertical stabiliser. (In brackets in the Hungarian text is an untranslateable play on words).
	A hátrasikló féklap, kitérített állapotban. Ez itt nem leszálló vagy felszálló helyzet, a féklap kézzel mozdítható. Szóval "valahogy" áll. *The flap in deployed position. This isn't the landing or takeoff position, the brake can be moved by hand. So it's... just in a* position.**

	A fékernyő zárja. Ide van bekötve a fékernyő vége. Az ernyő a tokból való kieresztés után (miután a gépet lelassította), ezzel a most "természetellenes" helyzetben lévő zárral dobható el. 	Nézzünk be a Mach-kúp mellett ! Itt elöl a bal oldali pompázs-gátló szelep és mozgatórúdja látható. A hajtómű számára felesleges levegőt ereszti ki. Kissé beljebb az éppen ellentétes célú, rugó ellenében befelé nyíló, levegő beeresztő szelepet látod (majdnem). A törzs eleje - amint itt látszik - tisztán héjszerkezetű, bordák és hossztartók nélküli. Let's look in beside the nosecone! Just a little further in you can (almost) see the flap designed to do the opposite, which opens inwards against a spring. The front of the fuselage - as you can see here - is entirely a stressed-skin structure, without ribs and stringers.
	Eléggé illetlen nézőpont: benézünk a gép "püspökfalatján". Hajtómű nincs a törzsben, de már nem is kell neki... Nekem nagyon tetszik a kabint körülvevő áramvonalas test. 	Amitől a "kis UTI" más mint a későbbi változat: az F13 és a PF farokrészét viselte. A gyártás későbbi időszakában már a nagyobb függőleges vezérsíkú (MF, Bisz) farokrésszel szerelték a MiG-12U-kat. Hasonlítsd össze a 4419 képével: nem fogsz sokat látni, mert a 4419-ről még mindig csak az eddig egyetlen, Hérincs Pista által készített kép van a honlapon, az sem oldalnézet... 	Eltűntek a csúnya tátongó nyílások. The ugly gaping holes are gone.

	Egy kicsit groteszk nézet. Ne mondd el senkinek: a Pitot-cső állásszög-adó lapátok és a gép orra közötti része "utángyártott" alkatrész, eredetit nem sikerült beszerezni. This view makes it look a little grotesque. Don't tell anyone: the section of the pitot tube between the angle-of-attack indicator vanes and the plane's nose is an "aftermarket" part, as the search for an original was unsuccessful.
